Foster's days of being one of the top DC in the country go back to the late 90's to early 2000's before all these sick offenses sprouted up. Ya know...the days when your vaunted Mike had a great run when he split the DC duties with BrentV. At least all these years Foster has been his own man. Mike has an asterisk next to his dominate days as needing help from BrentV!!!
Don't blame BrentV that he is able to recruit studs to his defense, while here we are in the 5th season back under Mike and he still can't get his defense to line up properly half the time. All the kids on defense right now are all players recruited under Mikes watch. So the lack of talent is on Mikes shoulders as well. Good lord.....
Looking back it really is apparent the great defensive success OU had in the early 2000s was prolly more attributed to BrentV than it was Mike.

Ou has a great DB in Thomas and Walker was supposed to be great but he has no heart. Parker and Obo are really good but the rest of the is pretty average and guys that have no experience. if you think this is a top 10 D based on athletes you know zero about D which it really sounds like is the case.

2014 Clemson studs beat OU non studs 40-6. 2015 Clemson studs beat OU non studs 37-17.
2010 classes... OU 29 commits ranked 7th, Clemson 24 commits ranked 20th.
2011 classes OU 17 commits ranked 15th, Clemson 29 commits ranked 8th.
2012 classes OU 25 commits ranked 11th, Clemson 20 commits ranked 14th.
2013 classes OU 25 commits ranked 15th, Clemson 23 commits ranked 14th.
Clemson has 32 players currently in the NFL... OU has 35 currently...
