I actually loved this move in terms of maximizing the talent you’re getting on the field.

A lot of the board gave grief to this prediction but it seems Oklahoma was thinking the same thing.

I truly believe this listed group is the best assortment of talent to start the season with, with Tarquin being a wild card but a player I still think can be serviceable.

Hickman is going to be a stud.

Football Final depth chart projections for OU in 2024

Here are my predictions for every position group when the depth chart is released next week (likely on Monday).

*** Everyone is happy about the Sooners landing 2025 five-star OL Michael Fasusi and they should be. Fans have long loved how the Sooners' OL has turned out each and every season, but I don't think anyone can deny that landing Eddy Pierre-Louis in 2024 and Fasusi in 2025 makes things much more enticing for OU fans and prospects of a more elite OL in the not too distant future.

Vol board vitriol

I've had a fondness for Tennessee for many years. No reason, really, I guess it's just Knoxville. A great place. Dropped in for the first time since around 2014 to get a feel for our upcoming game. Absolutely no respect for OU as a program and very unpleasant dialogue (diatribe). To level set I included a brief comparison to our programs. Gas tank, meet match.
They are particularly dismissive of the Heisman. One of many comments to wit: "Edit to add: We wear that Heisman score with pride. F them Yankees, they can keep the damn thing."

If you post, get ready for an alphabet soup of insults.
