I actually loved this move in terms of maximizing the talent you’re getting on the field.

A lot of the board gave grief to this prediction but it seems Oklahoma was thinking the same thing.

I truly believe this listed group is the best assortment of talent to start the season with, with Tarquin being a wild card but a player I still think can be serviceable.

Hickman is going to be a stud.

Dez predicted OU as the #9 seed in the 12-team playoff.

Most have called OU a "sleeper" in the SEC, but Dez is the only ESPN gameday member to project OU as a playoff team.

so i know it’s been a minute now but from what i understood he was mad at us originally for putting crystal balls in after his visit but i also understand that it was texas insiders who did it? is this incorrect? or have things just changed since then. would anyone like to elaborate on what happened with him?

*** Everyone is happy about the Sooners landing 2025 five-star OL Michael Fasusi and they should be. Fans have long loved how the Sooners' OL has turned out each and every season, but I don't think anyone can deny that landing Eddy Pierre-Louis in 2024 and Fasusi in 2025 makes things much more enticing for OU fans and prospects of a more elite OL in the not too distant future.

For every SEC team from CFN site. 9-3 predicted for OU. I think that would be a great 1st year in SEC and about what I expect realistically.

I've had a fondness for Tennessee for many years. No reason, really, I guess it's just Knoxville. A great place. Dropped in for the first time since around 2014 to get a feel for our upcoming game. Absolutely no respect for OU as a program and very unpleasant dialogue (diatribe). To level set I included a brief comparison to our programs. Gas tank, meet match.
They are particularly dismissive of the Heisman. One of many comments to wit: "Edit to add: We wear that Heisman score with pride. F them Yankees, they can keep the damn thing."

My buddies and I are having an argument about how “processing” a player after the season works. Can the coaches provoke a scholarship from someone on roster to be given to someone else or do they just encourage them to leave? If that so called player doesn’t leave do they still keep the scholarship?
