I was listening to 740am out of Tulsa this morning. Heard an ad for the Hard Rock Casino who "guarantees $225,000 in payouts for the month of May".

Being a numbers guy....
$225,000 / 730 hours per month = $308.21 per hour in payouts.

$308.21 / 1000 gamblers = $0.31 payout per gambler per hour.

You know.... I think it's a profit deal.

My wife and I met our Lubbock friends at WinStar this week. I think the payout per gambler per hour averages about $0.13 on Thurdays and Fridays in Thackerville, but the golf course is a bargain for such a track.

The numbers are always in their favor for sure. Think of the droves of people in there spending......say 300 a head on average trying to hit that $ 300. They will make 100 times that payout they are advertising.

I won't go to the lobby until checkout tomorrow morning.
So, clearly for every 100 people, there's a guy like me, that rarely loses, and is way ahead in the long term.
I never play scared, that gives me a small edge.
