No announcement from Lincoln Riley on Sooners quarterback. The wait continues.
* Riley said he continues to be pleased with play of the young safety group. Think Justin Broiles, Delarrin Turner-Yell and Jordan Parker. Even noted Parker forced a fumble on the last play of Saturday's scrimmage, then sprung a 'big' block to allow frosh DT Jordan Kelley returning the fumble for a touchdown.
* Drake Stoops continues to impress ... BUY BUY BUY stock in the true frosh pass catcher.
* Bill Bedenbaugh not concerned at all with competition and progress of his offensive line. Particularly not concerned with ironing out left and right tackle as Oklahoma sits just a few weeks from kickoff.
* Bill Bedenbaugh added Tramonda Moore, Brey Walker & Darrell Simpson are not ready to play just yet. Could change by mid-season or end of season, quality candidates for 4-gm redshirt rule.
