I think the good will from the fans just left for Williams. He seems like a good kid and is doing what’s best for him. I get that. It sucks.Knew it was coming. All about the money.
Next man up.
Haha well if OU counters then they better backload the payout so he won't transfer later. Somebody is going to pay him and all Qb's going forward will be paid so .......What a fiasco this isDISCLAIMER...NO VALIDATION: 'Twitter Sez'...Caleb has been offered between $1 and 2 Mill to go to Georgia and play for the Dawgs...
I bet you pitch 50k to the dline? This is the world we live in now my man. We can dislike it all we want but.......There's a bunch of teams that will never have a fair chance at winning a nc. Not when the ol is getting $50 grand a player and multiple other high dollar players.
We aren't called 'Quarterback U', for nuffin'! Show me a school with better results producing Heisman QBs and #1 Draft Picks!!!CWs reason for leaving is complete BS. I don't blame the kid, but state it for what it is. It isn't about development, it's about NIL. He currently can't go to a better situation than the one he is currently in. Miami, UCLA, Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU? None of those teams are setup the way OU is with the kids currently in place, a top 10 recruiting class, a top level coaching staff (that keeps being added to) and a Fan Base that literally called for him to be the starting QB. With that being said, I'm extremely excited about Dillon Gabriel (who reminds me of a left handed Baker, the college version). I think the future looks bright for OU (through my Crimson colored glasses of course!).
I wonder if Venables has already made his decision for him. Either way, I will be surprised if CW stays.Classes begin Jan 18th at OU, so we should know by then whether he is staying or going.
Mario Williams joining Caleb, Every 5 star recruit that Riley brought in is now leaving
Yes...takes pretty much everything I like about college football out the door.We might as well remove the reference to “amateur sports” from college athletics. So sad.
Mario was the one I assumed would follow.
May be easier if they both just go. Wease and Mims is still a lethal duo.
