I've been going down youtube rabbit-holes and stumbled on this Buster Rhymes piece. I'm a few years younger than George, and I caught the tail-end of his OU career (when I was a student). He was controversial for sure.
There was the "uzi incident" and the theft of a teammates stereo (Jim Rockford?). He goes to the Vikings and set an NFL record for kick return yards. And then, poof, he's winning the Grey Cup for Winnipeg. Years later, he's convicted of carjacking. I wonder what he's doing today.
