The Oklahoma City Wranglers will kick off in a make-shift stadium in the OKC Crossroads Mall parking lot in April 2023. Hey, why not? I used to watch professional boxing in the Gary Dale's BBQ parking lot arena and it was a blast. As for the UFL, it's difficult to believe it will have a long life, but should be entertaining to watch, even if it is a mishmash thrown together in a has-been mall parking lot.

What makes it better is JD Runnels has been named Head Coach. I absolutely love the guy.

Just a question for many of you that know way more than I do about the recruiting scene. Do the coaches recruit by position group or geography or certain schools. I see some twitters posted on recruits, and there are some with Bates, but on the defensive side, almost all with BV. I don't remember seeing a lot of noise with Lebby and Roof. I know Lebby got JA, but not sure about other recruiting wins. Coach B seemed to land 4 OL. Demarco got some RB's. But it appears that BV has been involved with almost every defensive recruit. What is Roofs role in recruiting. Ditto for Lebby. Just not sure why the posts don't show more involvement from these two. I assume they are good salesman? Yes/no?

It seems like college football is now pretty much like the wild west. Kids can do anything they want anytime they want with wherever they want to play. It used to be that once a kid signed a LOI you could quit worrying about him for at least a year. But with all the changes, is that really still the case? So are there still any rules in regard to how long a kid has to honor his LOI before he can jump ship? And does he have to wait for "portal season" to transfer or can he just pull up stakes and move anywhere anytime? I don't think I've ever heard anyone give specifics on what the rules are now.
