I truly don’t understand

Why the hell Oklahoma can’t be competitive with these 5 star DL guys in a High School and the portal. I completely understand the fact that we got Stone, but it was always obvious he was going to choose Oklahoma in the end.

Why are we always second fiddle to everyone? Why is it that when these guys at A&M go into the portal it’s “don’t count on it” or “there would be a huge mountain to climb”? Why is it so hard for us to get these dudes? If Oklahoma is so in tune with NIL and willing to drop a bag, why is it that we have no shot with them despite us being in their top schools out of High School? Just so they can transfer to Georgia or Bama or Texas and kick our ass for the next 2-3 years. It’s ridiculous man. I’m of the opinion that you need to get these guys to win. BV KNOWS that as well and so does Bates but here we are saying we have no shot with these guys. Why?

A previously unreported visitor of note this weekend (Fri 1:35pm)

In addition to portal commits Spencer Brown and Deion Burks, as well as portal targets Geno VanDeMark, Febechi Nwaiwu and Bauer Sharp, I’m also told Oklahoma will host former Hawaii kicker Matthew Shipley this weekend.

He was 14-for-18 on field goals in 2023, with a long of 51 yards.
