I like a multitude of skills sets. Rarely do you get the one guy who can do it all.
Gabe Sawchuk is pretty diverse but it's not likely he'll be the next Demarco.
A Deuce Vaughan type will be good to have. Seems to have a nose for the endzone.
Hope so; he’s 200 lbs.

So whatever size Franklin is, he should be a good addition.

A smart pick up with Walker on the bubble. Not sure what is going on with Barnes and the injuries in 2023.
I’m hoping Barnes returns to his 2022 form. If not or if Barnes transfers, I hope Hicks comes through as Tatum and Robinson come in.
I have seen his weight as high as 200 and as low as 170, I know height and weight are always fudged a bit but thats a big difference. Height all over the place too and his 40 time at almost 4.6 or so.

There are and have been great RBs of smallish size.
What matters more, in my opinion, is how well a back follows blocking lanes, blocks, cut laterally and run “tough”.
And an elite offense line can make a back at or under 5’10” very effective because defenders have difficulty locating where he is.
In Franklin’s case, I’m trusting the coaches on why he’s at OU and how he will be utilized.
