Per the 247 board on Texas, Lamont will be committing this Saturday. Could be a good weekend for the sooners.

Jessie or bryan are there any other commits to watch for besides Canady or is it down to just her? Thanks love the softball converge.

Tail end talks about family atmosphere being super important and with all the buzz on OU being such a family atmosphere I’m curious what happened between OU and the Cure?

Only been here a couple days but will be sticking around, I messaged OU Insider on X after I missed the promo last week and they got me the deal even though it was expired, appreciated that. I met Brian Bishop years ago and was one of his members on scout before I got off the internet for a while. Seems it has been half a lifetime since then... I am glad to be back and enjoying the new writers.

Information seems consistent which is more than I can say for other boards spent time on over the years. I like that the writers answer question in threads and a good bit of board chatter without all the crazies.

This recruitment will go into the Fall - don't get things twisted. If Mills sticks with his commitment, this will be one of the best WR classes OU has ever signed.

2025 Rivals100 OL Lamont Rogers will be releasing his decision date soon enough. I wouldn’t be shocked if in the next 24-48hrs we got a definitive date. We have long said that he wouldn’t get past July 10 (being a bit liberal with that date, in my opinion), and I still stand by that. Obviously, that’s if things don’t change (and the date has a few times already).

That said, it’s Rogers’ decision and date to announce, but we have stated that OU, Texas A&M, Mizzou and Florida State are still pursuing him and trying to earn a commitment from the elite offensive tackle.

Source today said, “Oklahoma has made a really solid pitch to Lamont [Rogers], and one that has his attention, but A&M and Mizzou are making this one heckuva battle. Those three seem to be the ones putting up the biggest fight.”

I still like the Sooners’ standing here, but I also am very aware that OU’s two biggest contenders (A&M and Mizzou) are known for some last second NIL heroics. Even knowing that, this feels like a recruitment where his mom loving the Sooners and Bill Bedenbaugh could play in Oklahoma’s favor. The question is if that, his obvious development at Oklahoma and the Sooners NIL pitch are enough in the end?

Something we will find out about soon — and shortly after his decision date is announced.

As of now, I’m liking OU here but we are watching and listening closely to see if anything changes down the stretch.

Sounds like right now OU is favored for
Lamont Rogers, Kade Pietrzak, Christian Jones and possibly Omarion Robinson. If we land all four it would put us at 24 total. Would that make us done outside of a Fusasi/Babaloa type? @Brandon Drumm

I was a season ticket holder from 1993-2007 until I gave my ticket to my ex after my 4th back surgery.. I can no longer go to these functions. I remember where always making it for media day and I have several team signed balls including 2000.. Stoops even signed a personal not to my 1 year old in 2001. I also remember when they celebrate Switzer in the mid 90's on a rainy day inside of a tent.. I think it was the ground breaking of the Switzer center. But I can't make it any more to Norman due to my back.
