Would be great if he was motivated to break several NCAA records and played 3 or 4 years at OU.

How many great players played just their freshman year and went on to have a very successful NBA career? I can't think of any. Most played 2 or 3 years, right? I mean, if you go to the NBA after just one season in college, your body hasn't finished growing, you're still fresh out of High School. Seems like the body needs more time to develop to withstand the pros.

Amazing talent, and he appears to be a level-headed kid too. Not a lot of showboating. Kind of Steph Curry-ish. He's going to be a multi-millionaire pretty soon.

He almost has to be a one & done, and good for him.

He won't spend a year or more risking injury which could banish that dream. It isn't worth the boost to a college team's feel-good ratio.
