You get a real sense of two things.
1. Being ranked No. 16 by the selection committee helped them realize it hasn't always been doom-and-gloom and there's no reason for it to continue to be moving forward.
2. It's time to have fun again. Smile again. Enjoy the process again. Much like Baker Mayfield said after the loss to Iowa State, college sports should be fun. It changed considerably for OU from being the hunter in Nov/Dec to the hunted in Jan/Feb.
