We lost to OU, therefore we're better than OU. Got it.
That trash defense keeps racking up B12 titles while your asses keep dreaming of winning one. They may not be any good overall but they still got conference championship rings.

I give much love to those two Texas high school QB's. I root for several ou players...just not the team as a whole. But Texas boys always get love. Several Texas high school QB's have won a Heisman, in the last 10 years, and they dominate on the NFL level. Much pride and love for them boys from the Lone Star State. I'll be rooting for Hurt also, I just don't think he'll be that guy. The moment Murray touched down at OU, I knew it was a problem. I was confused as to why everyone didn't see it coming. Guess what...Hurts is a better version of Ehlinger. If you're honest with yourself, you can see that coming too. We'll see how it plays out but IMO and for the foreseeable future, Texas will be good but OU will be better. At least the Horns are relevant again which is something they haven't been able to say for about a decade.
In terms of both intellect and personality, as long as Riley is at OU and Herman is at Texas, OU will have an advantage. Frankly, Tom Herman comes off as a decent coach but also a douche. Between hitting himself with a sledgehammer, kissing his players, his post-OSU loss nonsense, and whining about the WVU QB extending the ball across the goal line on a two point conversion (and I'm probably forgetting a couple) WTF? In the long run it will cost the Horns because people will see through the strangeness of his personality.
As far as the questionable logic of our resident Horn troll...a three point win in the last minute of the RRS is an "ass whipping" but an 11 point win in the conference championship game (in which Texas gained less than 100 yards rushing) is some sort of moral victory--get serious.

I'll type real slow for the lost guy. We beat OU last season, and it's hard to beat any good team twice in the same season. Yet in the second game, Texas led most of the way, but Murray is savage. Murray is no longer around to save that thrash defense. That NFL offensive line is no longer around to protect your QB, and part the crowd, for your running back. Your defense is back though, and they have to learn a new system. They are going to be doing so much thinking out there...so much uncertainty and slow reactions. OU may not be playing for the Big 12 Championship, in 2019. You heard it here first.

Back to our regular scheduled program. Texas was spanking OU for most of the RRR, those oh by way points at the end don't change that. OU won the second game by 11, but that was based on a few plays at the end of the game. It's a shame that I have to explain how the final score doesn't tell the entire story. You really tried to go there with it. Not very smart are you. Your defense was consistently trash, one small moment in time can't change that. Trash is trash...they were consistently trash.
