Shoutout to @Brandon Drumm & @Parker Thune for getting us this wonderful content to gleam some stuff from!

- I really like Mateer’s feet. He plays/moves very forefoot heavy like Baker did. Incredibly light on his feet and really showcases some serious tendon stiffness when moving in short areas, giving him some quickness to get into his throwing motion. Also, incredibly advanced at this stage with his shoulder/hip disassociation.

Additionally, his hand position in the laces also bares some similarities to the former Sooner legend.

- Sawchuk looks tight. Bound up. Tough to tell from a few clips but looks like he still needs to work on getting his fluidity back. Just a bit heavy footed and holding onto some extra body fat that I imagine will get trimmed up in the summer.

- Love the way Franklin is moving. If not for the Navy game, I’d be pretty high on him coming into the year.

- Gentry rocking the shoulder brace so definitely something they are taking precautions on as that shoulder is going to be extremely exposed with how he tackles. He also looked a touch restricted in attempting to bring the ball down. These braces are very common and while they can be pretty restrictive for folks, they really help keep things safe.

Additionally, he does look a bit heavy footed and just “out of sync” but I imagine that will come as he gets those reps back that he missed.

More to come…
