So with the ice storm, I need to cook some ground beef in the fridge.

Being a fatty, when I try and eat healthy I enjoy brown rice and seasoned beef. And I watch a lot of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and am always fascinated when they go to Jamaican or Cuban or any international restaurant with what they use to season meat.

But for me, I do a lot of experimenting with just cooking lean ground beef.

I used to just do salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. I've started adding garlic powder, onion powder, and a little bit of cumin and instead of just rolling out little meatballs, salt and pepper and then pouring the sauce into the pan to render down and coat the meatballs and add them into the rice, I have started putting the ground meat in a bowl, then adding salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin and then mixing the worcestershire sauce into the meat before putting it in the pan. I've even done it with cayenne pepper before as well.

So I'm curious, does anyone else have a ground beef spice mixture that they use to pair with rice or another side?
