OT: Republicans Being Shot At

They can't face reality. All hell is about to break loose when the new Healthcare Bill comes out. Whether it's effective won't matter. Removing Obamacare is going to cost elections for some and lives for others. The Left is going to be riled up and it's going to get ugly.

I enjoy Trump shaking up the politicians who have become too comfy in their career positions sitting in DC. Now Trump has them all squirming around. Trump will make mistakes. Trump is no politician and for that I support him. so many forces are lined up to stop him and impeach him. That shows me Trump must be a threat to their career politician lifestyle so many if them have come to abuse and take advantage of.

He had bet his friends that his date "will have her hand on my ..........." before the end of the night, and she did eventually touch it while grabbing popcorn. It was a 50s period flick that was probably released in late 70s or early 80s. Diner?

OK, but that's not the narrative, bull. The narrative is that the Russians wanted to rig the election in favor of Trump, ie. to impose upon the USA the candidate that best reflected their ideology. This past election was a pretty clear "capitalism (Trump) vs. collectivism (Hitlery)" contest.

My question is: why haven't Obama, Hillary, Sanders, Biden, Schumer and other heavy weight Democrats stepped forward to condemn the LEVEL of hatred produced by protesters, fellow politicians, the mainstream media and the out-of-touch Hollywood "drama queens" ? I have no problem with anyone not liking...even hating Trump.....but advocating assassination, that Trump has had an incestuous relation with his daughter Avantka, calling Trump's wife a "Russian whore" and proclaiming that Representaive Stephen Scalise deserved being shot is taking political discourse to an all time frightening low level. This includes the free reign that violent and deadly protesters get from condemnation whenever a Republican politician or advocate make public appearances (like playing a softball game or going into a restaurant).
It's not the protests per se I condemn. It's the level of protests I condemn. For a political party that professes to be the party of altruism against the evil, heartless, privileged white Republicans, the dangerous forms of protests totally contradict that philosophy.

This is just an old man's opinion, but I miss having only the choices between Walter Cronkite (CBS), Harry Reasoner (ABC) and David Brinkley/John Chancellor (NBC) in the 1970-80 era. Even as a youngster when I didn't pay attention to national news, I would take Chet Huntley, David Brinkley or Cronkite over any of today's cable talking (out of their ass) heads. Too much drama caused by each network having to create 24/7 news.

The liberal media created its own "monster" in Trump.
By pimping nanny state politicians, political correctness, and attacking the opposition party as "Nazis", "homophobes", "racists" and (my favorite).... "deplorables"....the MSM (and Hollywood) alienated for so long many in middle America, or the so-called "fly over zone".
Last November, it finally caught up to them. And the backlash has been violent and dangerous.
Say what you will about Trump, and I'm neither defending or attacking him, he's a byproduct of the backlash to all the liberal BS that became so rampant for the past 9 years.
Trump needs to focus more on the tasks at hand and to stop having social media fights with his enemies, which are childishly impulsive.
