I have a situation in my new house. Old style built in TV space that isn't large enough to fit my TV. In a similar situation at my last house I used a pull out tray, similar to this. This space, however, is above a fireplace so I think the tray might make it too high, and it's really not secured. I see an alternative made for RVs here. That is generally used so that the TV slides out horizontally along the wall, not mounted to a perpendicular shelf like I will use but I think it might work. I'm amazed there aren't more mounts like this readily available. Anyone have any potential solutions?
