OT: how do I change credit card for Rivals?

Apparently Rivals is going to Visa and my account is linked to a MasterCard. Do I have to go through the "upgrade and save" link? That looks like it wants me to open a new account. Any way to do this from preferences? And is it necessary to switch to a Visa? I don't know where in the hell I read that but my phone is reminding me I did. Any help ?
