Oklabama, the point is this. We either have a 2nd Amendment with "the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" or we don't. There is no in between ground. Once the Left Wing Democrates find a way to ban a semi-automatic rifle of any kind we have gutted the 2nd Amendment. They won't stop there. They will keep chipping away until we lose our rights to keep and beak any gun.

We either stand up for the 2nd Amendment or we lose it.

Armed citizens prevents armed takeover by our Leftist regime. Without this checks and balance, we would've been subjected to tanks in our neighborhoods decades ago.

There is much, much money to be made by a select corrupt and sinister few within the government once the enslaved citizenry is placed under their dominance. Greed, after all, is the #1 sin. It leads to unfettered power and control. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Just look at the nut case in N. Korea as an example of what we can become once enslaved.

But then, there are those who enjoy the notion of being dominated.

Yep, pretty cool factoid.
The braintrust of Japan in WW2, on the strength of winning some early battles in the Pacific theater were actually plotting to invade our mainland on the west coast.
One of the main reasons they didn't was the fact that our citizens had guns.
They didn't want any of that.

I don't worry about enslavement by the elitists in pur government for one large reason. Who could they have fo their dirty work? The military and law enforcement is largely made up of folks just like you and me. The end result of any order to the military to violate our freedoms or use force against us would result in the removal and imprisonment of those who tried to give that order.

I'm strongly opposed to anything that infringes on the Second Amendment because the right to self defense is an inalienable one. It was not granted to us by our government. We're born with that right. The Framers got it right in explicitly removing the ability of our government from infringing on our right to self defense.

This is just an interesting fact for those who are supporting the Black Lives Movement.

Between January 1 of 2009 and December 31 of 2012 Black men murdered 4,472 other black men.

During that same time period of time 112 black men died from both justified and unjustified police involved killings.

It stands to reason that most of the police involved in killings of black males were justified shootings. That is black males killed either in the act of a crime or in the apprehension of a black male who was in the process of committing a crime. Such as the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson.

I can't get around the idea that the Black Lives Movement isn't or won't focus on the over-whelming cause of murder of black men, which is black men killing black men.

Chicago is the murder capital of the US. We all know that the vast majority of the Chicago murder rate is black men killing black men and these murders are connected to the black illegal drug business. Black gang members killing other black gang member.

Now, we know 5 white cops were murdered in Dallas two days ago by a black man who hates whites and was bent on murdering white men who were cops.

I don't know how any reasonable can make any sense out of any of this.

I think we are going to learn that the killing of the black man in Minnesota by a white cop was a justified killing. And, when we do we will have another incident where the left wing political established have used another unfortunate incident to call for gun control.

My bet is that the vast majority of black on black murders/killings involving guns are being committed by black felons who used illegal guns to kill.

I was reading about the Dallas man they thought was a suspect in ambush. He was carrying a rifle on the street. That's not illegal in Texas and never has been. A rifle or shotgun is legal but has a stipulation about intent. You only need a permit to carry handguns. They took my Remington 870 away temporarily eight years for having it loaded. No charges and I got it back minus the ammo loaded. I guess they thought I was mad at someone. I don't have a record of arrest anywhere. I'm white, well I have a farmers tan. The only thing I could think of was the ammo wasn't bird shot.

The Left's agenda under the current regime is, in part, to racially divide this country. The obvious plan is to fuel ethnic dissent to keep the African-American and Hispanic vote trending toward/firmly entrenched within the Democratic party. Despite past Democratic atrocities committed against African-Americans, the media over time has convinced them that conservative policies are harmful and that institutional enslavement and economic manipulation/oppression are in their best interests.

We've seen the Left propagandize that people of faith are standing in the way of our/their Progress. They and their media lackeys have portrayed religion as an evil that needs to be transformed to align with their positions. They view the Bible and our Constitution as being excessively pliable and should conform to their plan if enough pressure is applied. They believe both can be "modernized" and manipulated to become more in tune with their agenda. Thus, we have the faith, values, and freedoms divide.

Under the current POTUS, the job market has fizzled the past 8 years - an orchestrated plan. Coupled with low literacy rates and college students with their massive student loan debt, they can't find suitable employment to become either established or to pay off their debt. Without jobs, they can't family plan. They've become desperate and easily manipulated. Our youth are turning to political candidates and party that "promises" them a free way out. They are now proclaiming, WE NEED SOCIALISM! Thus, the young vs. established divide.

With the expected coronation of Queen Hillary, the orchestrated agenda will be to gender divide the country. Entice and manipulate the women voters to further solidify and identify with the Democratic party. We will likely see a significant uptick in abortion advocacy and anti-gun rhetoric.

We're seeing the Left's greed and power lust win out over basic humanity issues. People of need - forced or otherwise - can be so easily manipulated.

Yeah, about 20 year ago, a news agency polled 500 assorted law enforcement and national guard peeps.
The question was, "If ordered to go door to door, solely to confiscate legal weapons, would you comply?"
Only 2% said they would.

When the perp in Ferguson died, because of his owns actions, Obama spoke from the White House to blame the police officer who was doing his job. Obama's own justice dept, the most corrupt of my lifetime, found the facts were the opposite of the POTUS claim. But that fueled these ongoing shootings of our police across the country. And he views those events as an op to rail against gun owners. Last night, when five police officers died, HE TWEETED. His priorities are clear. And he is causing one of the most dangerous professions in the country, and perhaps our most essential, to be much much much more dangerous. This IS on Obama. To defend him is to support the continued violence.

Instead of resorting to mindless name calling, why don't you inform the rest of us on what Obama has done the last 7 and 1/2 half years to better this situation.

What I have seen is the first black POTUS totally waste an opportunity to help race relations. Instead what he has done at every opportunity is to divide and polarize the issue. All he has done has placed the blame on the wrong people. I'm an honest, law abiding patriot citizen who owns lots of guns, has a carry conceal permit, served his country in the US Military, participated in our political system at both the state and national level and I have never hurt a living soul. I'm tired of being the whipping boy for Obama and Clinton and all the rest of the left wing democrats who blame people like me for all this crap that is going on with the police haters.

Non-Blacks murder over 99% of the blacks murdered each and every damn year. Please tell us what Obama has done in the last 7 1/2 years to slow the black on black murders?

You can't give me any damn thing he has done to help the situation. At every instance over the past 7 1/2 year Obama has blamed rightful gun owners and threatened to destroy the 2nd Amendment rights of the honest American Citizens.

We have laws on the books at the National level and the state level, but this Obama Administration has turned their backs on enforcing those laws. Hell, do you know Fast and Furious? If, so, how in the hell can you or any other person justify that scandal by the Obama Justice Department.

How many types of protest are going on in the recent years? The KKK can disrupt things with a small group legally.
Police have to keep the peace that's a very big budget drain in these big marches lately. Do they really have to allow it in place that has skyscrapers and live targets in blue uniforms. Give the police the upper hand this is ridiculous. I saw Vietnam war protest when I came to Austin. The police right there on the drag ( runs beside the University) they tear gassed and clubbed the hell out of those hippies. Another time at the capital but no clubs were used. Selective on the right to assembly. LBJ was POTUS at that time.

I will not be surprised if what happened in Dallas will happen in Cleveland at the Republican Convention next week.....and the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia July 25-28.

Hey, hervsta how do you square the comments about the motives of the black Police killer made by David Brown, the black Dallas Police Chief with those of the black POTUS Obama?

Police Chief David Brown told the whole world and every US Citizen that the killer of those Dallas Police officers did it because he hated white people and wanted to kill white people, especially white cops.

Then Obama tells the whole world and every US Citizen that we need to be careful about assigning motive to the Dallas police killer as we just don't know what his motive might have been.

So, we have a very articulate Black Dallas Police Chief working with a white Dallas Mayor speaking about what they know as the facts of the case as they are there on the scene with direct knowledge of the killers motive. The killer told them what his motives were. So, do you believe these two very professional people at the scene.

Or, do you believe a black POTUS, Obama, who has been out of the country during the whole mess and who likely hasn't even talked to anyone in Dallas?

This creates a really confusing set of circumstances, at least for some. How does any reasonable person believe a single work Obama utters?

The problem there is... there's nobody in the Legislative Branch, the Judicial Branch or the Executive Branch willing to lead the charge (who has the power to do so). Most of them have turn their backs on the American people and side with Soros.

If Trump were to win, which is not likely given Hillary's aptitude of playing the race and class warfare card (like a good liberal), riots will occur everywhere. As far as sparing the lives of many people, Hillary's win in November may be the "best" option.....and Obama's tainted legacy will continue.

I love my Sooners in all sports and I guess you do too. What you typing is very ignorant . If you sit next to a black person at a sooner sporting event,please don't high five them.
