By various reports, Thompson runs somewhere in the 10.2-10.3 range in the 100M. That is nuclear-level football speed. We're not talking Marvin Mims. We're talking about a different level of speed. Olympic-qualifying level? No. But for football purposes, this dude is going to beat angles like very few others we've ever seen.

He finishes like two full meters ahead of the competition, with room to taunt and beat his chest before finishing the race. By comparison, Thompson will have like 7+ tenths of a second on the dudes chasing him. Meaning that, in a 100M race, the distance between he and they would be more than three times the distance between Bolt and the competition here.
