“It is the crappiest feeling in the world to have to watch a game like that,” Thomas said of the Tulsa game. “I learned that obviously it's not about me. It's way bigger than me. It's way bigger than all the players on the team. It's about however many million people watch and support the University of Oklahoma.”
“I'm still proving myself,” Thomas said when asked about his relationship with Stoops since the suspension.
“It'll take time, but I know we're a lot better than we were.”
