Would Mikes 7 DB scheme be a stroke of genius against the Baylor pass scheme?
I only ask because it seems like that season we fielded the wrong scheme with dbs when we needed run defense and the last two seasons we solved that had have had great run defenses but now need pass coverage.
Could the Dime defense be the today's answer like the 4-3 was at the beginning of Bobs career and then the Nickel that followed?
I could see us deploying the Nickle and then matching personnel and going dime with our sub packages. We do it on the line already.
