There’s a giant backstory that includes being born at 26 weeks weighing 1 pound 4 oz. It includes over 400 days in the NICU and PICU, and his twin brother Hudson tragically passing away at 12 days old.
In spite of all of that, today is a huge milestone!
Casen began physical therapy on August 6, 2020. He was still on oxygen, couldn’t set up, couldn’t stand, and walking was a dream.
Fast forward just over two years and he’s running, climbing, and practically jumping off stuff everywhere.
Today he graduates from physical therapy after meeting so many milestones. It’s been an incredibly tiring and exhausting journey as this little dude has over come so so much.
Its been a while since I’ve posted an update, so I apologize. I know so many of you have walked through this journey with us, and I can’t thank you all enough for your support and encouragement along the way. This is a big milestone.
