DrummBeat: Note on Sooners’ offensive analyst and a few head coaching openings

Spoke to a few sources today that told me OU offensive analyst Matt Wells has interviewed for the Nevada and New Mexico head coaching job openings.

A source said that there are some that believe Wells and Nevada may be the most likely job, but nonetheless, I wanted to make sure you all aware that Wells and head coaching jobs are still in play.

Wells has been at OU the last two season, so if he takes the Nevada or UNM job, that will another off-field role that OU will be looking to fill this off-season.
