UPDATE: 2:09p - I just got off the phone with Julious (update coming) and it sounds like Oklahoma's track record of NFL offensive linemen was the key piece here with him being a two for two player.
It also sounds like he'll be playing guard - though tackle wasn't ruled out in his conversations. He acted like playing guard or tackle was a non-issue so long as he had a chance to start. I'd guess he is expected to come in and compete for the vacant right guard spot or potentially push Jonathan Alvarez depending on how the Sooners want to shuffle guys like Kenyon Frison (assuming he is reinstated, etc.)
And he is done with visits, was pretty clear about that.
ORIGINAL: Scranton (Pa.) Lackawanna C.C. three-star offensive tackle Ashton Julious has committed to Oklahoma. He is the nation's No. 52 junior college prospect and chose the Sooners over offers from Florida, South Carolina, Arizona St. and a bunch of others.
More coming...
