First, people need to relax. We have a kid at QB who barely played last year and now in his first year as a starter is going against what could be a top 20 defense this year with an offensive line that will take a few games to gel (oh and most of the top receivers were held out of last Saturday's scrimmage).
OU fans are typically hard on their QB's and the backup is often what a lot of fans can't wait to see.
Give Arnold a chance. The kid is ultra talented. The last thing we as fans need to do if boo him off the field if he throws two picks in the first game. Now if this pattern continues into the second, third, and fourth games, then we might have an issue and have to re-evaluate.
Let's get behind this kid and relax and feel good that we have options should it not work out or an injury occurs. Until that time, get behind your QB1 and let's play some football. Please.....do not boo the first interception he throws. He's a high level QB that knows what he needs to do and what he shouldn't do. Give him some time to get his feet wet before you complain or boo him off the field.
Boomer....
