Leigh, transparency and building a quality program

In my opinion this kid epitomizes the kind of player you don’t want in your program. He and his parents have transparency (at best), moral and integrity issues. This is the kind of player that is a cancer to a program bc they (and their family) feel the program should be grateful to have them rather than they are grateful to have the opportunity to be in such a great program. Feel fortunate this kid didn’t take a scholarship to Oklahoma. One thing goes wrong or one criticism a d I fully anticipate he will take his little ball and go hone. In my field, integrity means everything and we quickly identify posers, this kid among others like him is simply a poser. Pay them no mind and be grateful we don’t have to deal with their lack of loyalty and distracting drama. Late to post but just finishing a full day of work. I’m quite pleased with the quality of recruits that are on board.

Excitement for ‘22 class

Now that the 2021 class is a wrap, except for the transfers/juco’s, I’m already excited about the potential firepower in 2022. When I think of the potential names like Gentry Williams, Bear Alexander, Luther Burden, Sawchuk, R. Brown, etc. That ‘22 class could end up being something special.

I know 2021 didn’t really end up the way we wanted, but the low quantity/ high quality is there. Plus, with the right current Sooners coming back, and with COVID measures hopefully improving, I’m already pumped for next season.

Josh has some explaining to do...

This is a PAY site. We PAY for inside information. We get fed months of inaccurate information, only to find out the “truth” 10 minutes before it’s announced. My friend, your sources SUCK. You know NOTHING more than 99% of us and less than 1% of us. You’re like the snake oil salesman when the town figures out he’s not selling a cure for anything.

So...

I am not coming with good news. I am expecting Tristan Leigh to pick Clemson.

As I said last night I think that the ability for his family to live in an area they are more familiar with has played a role here but I'm just surprised that it had such a late surge of importance.

As I also said last night I don't think this is going to be the end of the race and we will continue to watch what happens but today during his announcement I am expecting the choice to be Clemson and will be changing my future cast accordingly.

Per TOS on who Texas might have on coaching staff

QB Coach- AJ Milwee currently Bama analyst
RB Coach- Stan Drayton
WR Coach- USC WR Coach Keary Colbert
TE/Special Teams Coach- Current Bama TE/special teams coach Jeff Banks
Defensive Coordinator- Will Muschamp or Chris Ash
DL Coach- Current Detroit Lions defensive line coach Bo Davis
ILB Coach- your favorite Mike Stoops
OLB Coach- Falcons DL Coach Tosh Lupoi
Secondary Coach- Travarious Robinson (former DC at South Carolina under Muschamp)

I hardly ever post so go easy on me.

I’ve been on this board since 2002

I have seen some huge disappointments and some historical meltdowns over the years. If Leigh goes anywhere else than OU this board will be heading that direction. Josh, you’ve been on this board the longest than I can remember, give me your thoughts on the worst meltdown you’ve ever seen? Meacham ? USC debacle ? The Brown brothers ? Justin Manning ? Bomar & Big Red Sports ? I’m curious,
Merry Christmas to everyone. Stay safe! And always Boomer Sooner

Mullen’s garbage last night makes me wonder ... is Herman still the biggest coaching douchebag in America, or is there a new sheriff in town?

Stacey Wilkins

Does anyone know what's going on with this guy? He opted out this season and that's the extent of things we know so far?

Is it a foregone conclusion he hits the portal @Josh_M ? Gotta think with Sam Pittman being HC at Arkansas right now that it's more attractive than even if you're an OL. ***Not that I want that to happen at all, or even have heard of it happening at all, especially with a need at LT and potentially RT with Ealy returning being up in the air (and on Ealy - just because he's eligible to leave doesn't mean he will I do not know anything and have not heard anything)***

Goddamn this was a tough topic to make without hedging everything I said.
