Well, kind of. It was a HS coach practice day, too, so Porter Moser was explaining every single drill they were doing. We were there from 3:30-4 and saw zero scrimmaging. Just drills.

We did talk to Joe Bamisile for around 10 minutes, and you can tell how much he loves Norman compared to Washington DC. He's embracing becoming a much better defender and he's loving the chemistry between him and Grant Sherfield.

Two team notes:

*Grant Sherfield's grandfather died, so he was at a funeral and not at practice.

*Bijan Cortes is in concussion protocol so he wasn't going through any team drills.

Some tweets, but there wasn't much to it. Just good to see guys like Benny Schroeder and Yaya Keita for the first time since they've been cleared. But not a lot of evaluating could even happen based on the portion of practice we saw. Oh well.

Again, OU's exhibition is 7 p.m. Tuesday vs. OCU at LNC.

When I’ve made life changing decisions in the past, I’ve reached a point of no return in my mind at some point. At what point do some of these recruits that plan to enroll in January (i.e. Vasek, Kaleb S.)say to themselves, “It’s too late to change my mind, and I’m moving forward with the decision I made and not going to consider other options.” Idk maybe 17 year olds don’t think like that.
