I can’t believe that I decided to watch this show after Texas game.

I noticed that Brent can talk all day about what went wrong. He knows the details but admits he doesn’t know why it keep happening. It dawned on me, he has no command.

Bob in this situation had command. You would get a feeling that these things were going to get fixed by the next week. It always got fixed. I don’t believe Bob lost back to back games.

I grew up during Barry’s tenure and Barry always had command. He could talk about the loss and it was going to be fixed.

It might be a confidence issue with Brent or it may just be he is meant to be an assistant coach, take a back seat to the HC. He can’t take a backseat because there is no one to lead. They are paying him to lead.

Has anyone else notice this? It is quite painful. I believe he was so comfortable as the DC at Clemson that he never prepared himself to be the headman.

Curtis & Leroy saw an ad in the Hearald-Citizen in Cookeville, Tn.
and bought a mule for $100.
The farmer agreed to deliver the mule the next day.
The next morning the farmer drove up and said,

Curtis & Leroy replied, "Well, then just give us our money back."

A couple of weeks later, the farmer ran into Curtis & Leroy
at the IGA grocery store and asked.
“What'd you fellers ever do with that dead mule?”
They said, "We raffled him off like we said we wuz gonna do."
Leroy said, "Shucks, we sold 1000 tickets fer two dollars apiece
and made a profit of $1,898.00
The farmer said, "My Lord, didn't anyone complain?"
Curtis said, "Well, the feller who won got upset.
So we gave him his two dollars back."
Curtis and Leroy now work for the government.

Cortes is finishing his time in concussion protocol. Northweather tweaked an ankle.

Kid should be announcing it shortly and I am not one to rob him of something I know is a big moment.

Whether there is a correlation between a recruits obsession with social media and generating personal recruiting notoriety and future performance once in college?

It seems to me, at least anecdotally, that the recruit that starts with their top 20 (“look at all the schools that have offered me”), lead-on every program they visit by posting pics of themselves in the uniform of every school they visit, weed out their potential choice to TEN schools, and drag out there commitment til the bitter end, ultimately are more likely to underperform, switch schools, or be a locker room problem.

They are more likely to make their final choice based on NIL then relationships.

I would pass on all these guys no matter how highly ranked.

And before you jump in and say ALL the four and five star guys handle their recruiting this way just know that’s total BS. Plenty of them visit a few schools, get a feel for possible programs and make a choice without all the above.

Good evening, I’m trying to support my son and his team for the basketball fundraiser (Okemah).
I understand there are other HS coaches on here from all over the state and I was very hesitant due to that and the last fundraiser chaos on here lol. @CoachRoss44 🤣
But I figured what can it hurt.

So in saying that, I am Active Duty, and I don’t get the opportunity to be in the stands as much as I want/need to support my son and Okemah basketball. This is one of those ways that I can show my son I’m supporting his cause though. So Im reaching out to every Avenue I can.
