Given recent events, user turnover, and division of "youngs and olds", I was just curious as to the make up of the members. Since it is rude to ask a lady her age (here's looking at you @Runway18L ) I thought we could measure it kind of like dog years, except using how many National Championships have been won in your lifetime.

In case you don't know and don't want to look it up, the 7 championships were won in 1950, 1955, 1956, 1974, 1975, 1985, and 2000. It is waaaaayyyyy past time to add to this list.

Trolls, etc...

Guys, we've cleaned out some of the trolling and etc. that I think was fair to have an issue with and many of you had voiced opinions on.

That said, I'm now getting people who are claiming 'trolls' or whatever for people who seem to just disagree with what someone else said.

Trolling:

A) Bombarding people with the same messaging over and over again.

B) Saying clearly insane things for reaction.

C) Trying to wind people up, whether it's one poster or the entire group.

A guy who just happens to disagree with you isn't inherently a troll. Take a step back, realize you all want the same things - OU to be good, etc. It doesn't make anyone ill-intended if they don't see things like you do. It just means they disagree and that really will be ok.

PLEASE continue to send us reports and we'll look at it but try and consider 'is this person doing anything truly incendiary or do I just not like what they have to say?'

Also, I'll continue to repeat if a poster is taking way your joy of the board, ignore is an incredibly easy way to take that power away from them.

Sooner Survivor Series: Week 9

And on we go with our seventh year of the Sooner Survivor Series - the annual Big 12 Survivor Pool.

The rules are simple:

---(READ THIS ONE CAREFULLY, AGAIN) as there are only 10 Big 12 teams we always spend the end of the year filling out the regular season schedule. Well, to keep me from hating my life while filling out 500+ winners (until my BELOVED upset comes in) we’re going to do it in reverse. The first four weeks will be picking ONE winner from three hand picked games around college football. You don’t need to pick the winner of each, you simply pick the winner of ONE of the three games. If you’re right, you advance, if you’re wrong, your season ends early.

---Starting in week five, you’ll pick one Big 12 team each week that you think will win that week's game. If your team wins, you advance to the next week. When a team you picked loses, you are eliminated from the competition. Remember you ARE NOT picking against the spread, these are straight up win/lose scenarios.

---Once we've started the Big 12 segment and you've picked a Big 12 school, you cannot pick them again the rest of the season. This means you have to pick carefully and assess for things like bye weeks, matchups, etc.

---There are no byes for participants. In other words, you have to pick a team every single week. You have to watch later in the season to make sure you have a team to pick every week, because if you get into a situation where every team you have left is on a bye week and can't pick a team, you'll unfortunately be eliminated.

---Also, you MUST have your picks in before the first game on the docket (it will always be the first game listed below).

--- If anyone (or multiple people) can make it all the way through 14 weeks without losing, we'll use the bowl weeks as tie-breakers.

If anyone has any other questions, please feel free to write them below!

And now, here are the options for Week Three.

I was with Harrison, Davis and Bowman. Also spent a lot of extra time with White for the Friday feature. Eddie was with guys like Mims, and I'm just a curious as you are about what happened with the Marvelous One on Saturday.

OT: World Series umpire

This is the first WS assignment for my friend Jordan Baker. When I lived in Enid from 1999 to 2006 I had the opportunity to attend church with Jordan when he was a high school kid. Then a few years later he worked for me at my restaurant as a waiter. I’m excited for him I know this is a lifelong dream come true for him. Congratulations Jordan you deserve it!

Joey Halzle Oklahoma QB Coach?

With the surprising stellar play of Hedon Hooker and Tennessee’s offense this year, should OU hire Halzle as a QB coach? Good chance he isn’t as involved in the offense as the Hueple and other OCs but Tennessee QB play has looked impressive since Hueple and Halzle were hired .

DG might be coming back and Halzle was his QB coach during his time at UCF - https://utsports.com/sports/football/roster/coaches/joey-halzle/4957

Of course Lebby is just as proficient if not better as a QB coach but would it be a waste of time to help DG and the backups get to the next step?
