Well, first off, my thoughts are always in Oklahoma City on this day and those of you who really went through pain (and likely still are), I hope it's a day that goes by quickly and easily.
Alright though, let's go with the first visitor list - expect a LOT of updates as this group will get better and better.
**One of the guys that no one is talking much about so far is the visit of Hartland (Wisc.) Arrowhead three-star offensive tackle Garrett Sexton.
The big man has announced he'll be committing on May 1, just over a week after he's expected to depart from Norman.
Now I want to be clear that it sounds like his final group of Iowa, Penn State, Oklahoma, and Minnesota; it's the Sooners and Nittany Lions who are the most likely to be his final choice.
My gut feeling is that Penn State has built a sizable lead after a recent visit to State College, Pa. but he's paying his way to Norman and they'll get the last shot so that's hard to ignore. Oklahoma has built a great relationship with him led by, of course, Bill Bedenbaugh.
He's a guy that, maybe like Logan Howland in 2023, is very raw and hasn't played much offensive tackle but with his length and size OU sees a guy who has a high ceiling.
***The next addition is a guy that I'm very high on and think is one of the best few centers in the country - Clearwater (Fla.) Clearwater Academy International three-star offensive lineman Jason Zandamela.
"I'm going to be flying in (Thursday night)," Zandamela said.
Zandamela has been talking about the Sooners for a while and has mentioned them as something of a 'dream offer' so this is more than just a passing visit but Florida State has built an early lead.
