Just finished up interviews and here is the unofficial news on today's practice, and it's a confusing one:
Trevor Knight had the best day of all the QBs according to one source I talked to.
Here is the official post practice report:
Orlando Brown is making a move for a starting job. Bob Stoops told sports information to relay the message I the media that Orlando Brown was a player he should have mentioned yesterday as having a great camp.
Mike Stoops singled out Obo Okowronkwo as the most improved player on defense, although I'm working on a Devante Bond story and everyone rave about him.
Talked to Kerry Cooks and he said Jordan Thimas has been his best player this fall. He also said Kahlil Haughton is the freshman who has made the most progress since the start of camp.
Jordan Evans was back at practice, but Frank Shannon was not dressed out. Josiah St. John was back at practice after spraining his ankle in Saturday's scrimmage.
I failed to mention yesterday that Marquise Overton has been OU's best young DT in practices.
Really just a ton of praise for Bond was kind of the overall tone of today. But I am working on that story.
It was just defensive interviews today so nothing really new offensively.
