There Is No Joy in Mudvillle...

Today, we snatched Defeat from the Jaws of Victory...

We got OUTed...OUTcoached, on both sides of the ball, maybe? OUTplayed, and OUTsmarted. Maybe we really were Pretenders?

Now comes the Biggest Test of Riley's Head Coaching Career...How he handles the Defensive Coaching Staff, going forward, may well be the defining moment of his future at OU...He knows what needs to be done, and it WILL be tough to do...Can he do it?

Keeping Mike greatly diminishes his chance of success at OU. After watching Mayfields, Rileys and M. Stoops post game pressers they all seemed to say one thing, Complacency. Riley took blame and said he needed to do better and Mike said pretty much what he always says, we need to make more plays. If they keep preaching Complacency the players are not hearing it.

I didn't get to watch any post game pressers. But if this is true, then this team doesn't have the mental capacity to be a national title contending team. Baylor should have been the wake-up. An 0-3 Baylor team gave them a scare and obviously the team didn't get the hint, and the coaches have failed to drive the point home. After the Baylor scare this loss should not have happened to ANY team and/or coaching staff worth their salt in regards to contending for national titles.

I guess after the Ohio State win and all the love they got from the national media this team just assumed they could coast the rest of the year. I mean getting complacent and the season isn't even halfway over yet?? Who the hell does that???? What the hell does that say about the leadership and coaching of this team????? That is flat out embarrassing.

He sounds like a window licking retard. Surely OU can do better than this idiot.

Seems like we are doomed the rest of the way with Mr. No Answers. Just when you would think he would figure things out, the simpleton calls wrong play and Iowa State took advantage: He hit the ground with a thud and Coach Riley better act on the replacement DC while the season is youngish: It gets pretty severe rest of the way.
