CFP leagues, pure and simple. Nobody plays defense and they play weak non-league schedules and the best teams usually lose their bowl games and they can't recruit compared to SEC, Big 10 and so on.

So what's your point? We get it that the Big 12 is the redheaded stepchild due to not having a conference championship game, but you gotta be joking about the non-conference schedule. The SEC is notorious for padding their schedules with the likes of Wofford, Furman and some directional schools. Occasionally they'll schedule an OU, Wisconsin or Va Tech, but that is the exception rather than the rule. Sure, we have Baylor and KSU playing cupcakes every year, but what the SEC does with their OOC games is ridiculous.

OU has to win out, with wins over Baylor, TCU and OSU, then hope that the OSU or Clemson loses a game along the way to get in, since they have basically said that a one loss SEC champion is in guaranteed, then the two undefeated Big 10 and ACC champs, which leaved the Big 12 and PAC 12 to grovel over the last spot, correct?

I agree that not having a Championship Game hurts the conference, big time. Even if the B12 has an undefeated champ, they would get left out of the Final Four if you have a one-loss SEC, B1G, ACC and Pac-16 champs. Hell, even a one-loss Notre Dame would get strong consideation over an undefeated B12 team.

This year the SEC scheduled 56 non-conference opponents. 6 of those 56 were teams from the other power 5 conferences and Notre Dame...

The Big 12 played 8 of 30 against the strongest group of opponents.

Are you off meds? One thread is encouragement, the next is a beat down. I don't get it.

You ever notice that Alabama always seems to have trouble beating teams with good quarterbacks? The SEC doesn't have great QB's, a few good ones but no great ones. I wish OU would go to the SEC yesterday. We would blow the SEC up IMO.

He is off his meds, if we win out, I believe we get in the top 4, if we don't who cares about Baylor.

The west division of the Big X is a joke. Iowa is undefeated, but I don't think they are that good. OU, Okie Lite, Baylor and TCU would take Iowa and the rest of that division out behind the woodshed.
