If I was the ACC, B12, and any conf outside of the SEC or B10 I wouldn’t sign off on this power play by the last 2 conf mentioned.

Maybe the SEC and B10 should just create its own league since they think they are so special

The ACC champion, Clemson, got dispatched rather easily by Texas in the 1st round, and SMU, the "DEI pick", got destroyed by Penn State. At this time, the ACC is lagging far behind the SEC and Big Ten, and truth be told they're lucky to be getting the two automatic berths if that comes to fruition.

No conf should be guaranteed 4 automatic slots like the SEC snd B10 are basically demanding. This is the point of the podcast. I am not sure why anyone would be in favor of this BS. All the other presidents should be sick of this power play.

If they want all the power then split and create a new division of B10/SEC league and be done with it.

The b1g stinks except for Mechicken. BloSu & and Ped State; let them eat cake !
Those 2 conf actually believe everyone else needs to kiss their asses. I know OU is now a member of the SEC ( it was a money move) but those conf arrogance is going to eventually destroy college athletics as we know it.

OU has never won a playoff game even with the so called juggernaut offenses. Can't even get in now with a so called better defense and zero Offense. Defense may win Championships if you have an elite one which we don't but if your offense is dead last or close to dead last, forget it.

After 2000 OU never beat an SEC team in a playoff scenario.
And even under Stoops, OU had bad losses in bowl competition.
West Virginia, two to Clemson, Boise State and a national championship game loss to USC 55-19.

Really? Try watching the NFL draft and see how many of the "fluke" NC OSU players are drafted. Plus, the B1G was 6-1 against the SEC in Bowl Games. Why are they taking over ? Take a look at the largest alumni groups in the country and the B1G totally dominates which means huge NIL money

That's back to back NCs for the B1G......Michigan and OSU. It's all over boys. $$$$$$$

Those 22M payrolls pretty much says it all. I doubt OU will ever be sble to match that. Texas and Texas A&M possibly can though.

Plus last I looked the B10 made more revenue than the SEC

Below is what I found.

In the 2024 college football season, the Big Ten and SEC led in revenue, with the Big Ten earning $880 million and the SEC earning $853 million.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of the top conferences' revenue for the 2024 season:

  • Big Ten: $880 million
  • SEC: $853 million
  • ACC: $707 million
  • Pac-12: $604 million
  • Big 12: $511 million
