Slightly OT-Next year Dallas

Looking for maybe a new vibe next year, have stayed at Courtyard Marriott on Market Center for about 7-8 years, getting old and run down. The hotel, not me. Well not run down at least. Anyone have experience with the Omni downtown? - looks nice and location is great, and yes I realize it will be significantly more expensive. And on a related note has anyone ridden the DART from downtown to the fair and if so pros and cons. Thanks and Boomer Sooner- Jayhawks will fall 31-24
