Fired UGa coach Mark Richt is considered a candidate at Miami. I did not know he was a four year QB backup for the Canes. Hard to believe they haven't named their coach yet. Several others interviewed today include Greg Sciano (sp), former Miami HC Butch Davis and Dan Mullen. Butch won there before and could again. But I have read tonight that Richt is the front runner.
I believe North Texas will wait til Sunday or Monday to name Seth Littrell, former OU fullback, as their new HC. He is on the UNC offensive staff about to play Clemson this weekend.
Southern Cal named Helton their permanent coach after his interim stint.
Frost has been the Oregon OC. I sure figured he'd turned down better jobs in the past. Maybe not.
South Carolina would like to hire Richt, but unlikely. I've heard of a half dozen candidates there.
