Maybe wait until they sign on the dotted line . I think he is from the same high school as their other two commits (QB, WR). If so must be a helluva team or at least a helluva offensive team!

So far, all 7 commitments for 2023 are offensive players......3 from California, two from Florida, one from Oklahoma, one from Colorado.
Need to fire up the Texas pipeline and prioritizing defensive players.

We have 3 DL guys in this weekend for the game. Brownlow-Dindy is seen as a lock for OU. Both his parents went to OU. One is from Owasso that OU got into the mix late but seems to be trending to OU. These are probably all 2022 class. Overton is due in this weekend with his dad. He seems a lock for OU in 2023 as a DL.

I think that will happen to.some degree regardless. But until OU wins at least a playoff game the big time recruits, beyond who they are gonna get, will land at a different college. Now if OU decides to pony up $75 million and head to the SEC next year, the defensive recruits will improve instantly.

OU won't have to pony up $75 mil. If the SEC, OU & Texas agree to an early conference entry ESPN will pay it within the renegotiation of the conference broadcasting rights.

Recruiting is a serious game of selling oneself, the success of the team and how the target high school player fits into the program. The kids want to play where they know they can get on the field with a winning program and be considered for the NFL. Riley has all tools, history and pedigree to recruit top level offense players. Grinch is making strides and will get there soon. Step by step. I am certain 2022 and 2023 will show marked improvement on the field and in recruits homes. I have tremendous faith in the direction OU is heading. We will have disappointments but most do. (Clemson and Ohio State for example).
