I doubt Hawkins is any better. Our qb coach was a fullback in college, he's not someone who can develop QB's.
I hate belittling any OU player but I’m so tired of hearing about how great Arnold is or is going to be. Why not just wait and see.
We could have Tom Brady behind that offensive line right now it wouldn't matter. Littrel's play calling needs to compliment what his team can do right now.
This is gonna be a hard season if something doesn't change before Texas.
Arnold had all day to throw on that horrible interception.
He did turn it over twice. His line didn't throw that bad pass or fumble it for him.
If we're going to turn it over it needs to be throwing it down field. Littrell is making a bad situation worse.
Its time to quit makng excuses for Arnold. He has had more bad moments than good and tonight he has just been a turnover machine. Make the damn change it cant get any worse.

The defense has played better than I thought they would have but they are gassed.
I don't want to hear anymore about jackson arnolds 5 stars. Guy has been very average and has completely fallen apart this game.

IDE put Hawkins in for the second half. He needs reps before Arnold gets injured for the season.
Offense isn't currently capable of running what suits Arnold. We can't run the ball and work though play action or zone read.

Yep, bench Arnold. Gotta try something that works before its a blowout. An average Offense and we likely win this game.
In case anyone cares OU had 82 yards of offense in first half. UT had 204. TOP for OU just over 12 min.
Huepel is smart there. Get some easy points and let our offense give the ball back after 3 and out.
