Will Sooners wear the Red Tops (home) or the white tops (away) colors?

You'd be right normally, but the team chose to wear the white alts.I thought the higher ranked team was home team thus our home crimson on white with crimson helmets. But I could be wrong.

Click the link in post #3, they’re wearing the white rough riders, by their own choice.OU is the home team so they will wear the red home uniforms.
I would not be surprised if they asked the team what uniforms they wanted ... and they made their choice.
That's a good idea. Let the players decide.
AND if they win, i would not be surprised to see them choose to wear the Rough Rider Alternative as far as they play.
Yeah, I think "jumpman" was the signal that we're catering to the younger demographic.I know it's about money and appealing to the younger generation, but I dislike the alternate uniforms, especially the jerseys and dark socks.
But since it's out of my control I don't really give a schet.
Like we did against Iowa State in 2017 ?Yeah, I think "jumpman" was the signal that we're catering to the younger demographic.
I like the alt uni. We win in it![]()
That was “home” alts, aren’t we wearing “away” alts for this?Like we did against Iowa State in 2017 ?
Give me break....aren't they BOTH alternate uniforms ?That was “home” alts, aren’t we wearing “away” alts for this?
I agree. Whatever uniform is worn has nothing to do with one being a "downer".As a wise old Football Coach (Bob Stoops) once said, the color of your underwear, cleanliness of your shirt, etc. have no bearing on whether this team is going to win or lose a game.
Just so it says OU on the helmet and SOONERS on the jersey, I'll be able to identify the good guys.

Winning games trumps "fashion".
