OU doesn’t mean what it used to. These kids don’t give a sh*t what you did 25-75 years ago. We don’t have the reputation anymore and we aren’t willing to spend money because our university has an inflated sense of self. Having a recognizable brand means zero in this era of college football. You either have to be winning now or willing to pay money to win now. Resting on the laurels of years forgotten will get you nowhere. They need to quit expecting to land big time kids and coaches because they’re “OU”. IT MEANS NOTHING. Just ask Zac Alley and Lincoln Riley.
