OT: Question after browsing the 40 Acres

Why is it that Texas fans are wanting to leave the Big 12? There are several threads over there discussing this. This conference sold its' soul to become exactly what UT wanted it to become. The only issue, is UT didn't TCU and Baylor rising up and competing with them for recruits. Their greed will be the downfall of a once proud and strong conference. Such a shame.
