OT-Playoff Expansion Talk

I've never understood the coaches like Gundy clamoring for playoff expansion. IMHO.....expanding the playoff would only ensure a team with non-top 10 talent could ever win it all. I know this was from awhile back when he spoke of this.. I was just pondering it though.
