Was offered a job by the federal government, long story short it’s a significant pay cut. I’d like to take the job but the salary is way too low, they said the Federal Government doesn’t negotiate salaries but I could make a case with my qualifications, proof of pay from current job, detailed letter explaining all that (seems like a contradiction IMO), anyone have any experience dealing with this situation?
