I keep reading opinions that the NCAA will eventually hand down guidelines and regulations for these deals which is a little hard to understand. How exactly do people expect the NCAA to regulate deals and contracts between two private parties? It feels like any regulations regarding amount of $ spent goes against the whole spirit of NIL. How are they supposed to determine a fair market value for these kids to set a cap at?
