combined. The only team besides OU to win a game on the road was Florida State.

It is a lot to overcome to win on the road in the playoffs. Giving a fifth place team on one conference a home field advantage over a team that has been to the WCWS four seasons in a row and won their power conference, seems like a pretty tough decision in light of these ramifications.

I can't remember the last time I pulled for UCLA or Oregon in anything, but whenever they play an SEC school, I'll be hoping they run rule them. I sometimes think that in a close call, that the committee's show a bias against OU, considering that maybe OUr getting to play in OKC is like a home game, which I would dispute. The lack of courage by the two plate umpires in games two and three, in letting the Bama coach call the strike zone was deplorable.

Winning the conference ought to pull some weight. This year, only being in the SEC meant anything. Mizzou being seeded ahead of OU was a travesty.

But one message I believe was sent. The XII needs to have a post season softball tournament.
