I just watched that double reverse, flea flicker play again...

I think it was designed to take advantage of the way ISU plays defense. Likely wouldn't have worked later in November. But after they shut out Texas a week ago, it was a notice that this was a new week, and don't be quite so confident.

Worked pretty well.

You're right...those guys in the gauntlet games would've sniffed that out and probably ended up with our fumble.

Whole different animal here on out...
I would say I'm scared but, I'm too terrified.

In 1971 we had the three game gauntlet. I thought I'd be thrilled with sneaking by in one of them. We won all three handily.

So too in 2000. The Neb game was the biggest scare. After 7 minutes, NU led 14-0. Then OU scored was it 31 unanswered? Can we handle the gauntlet again?

I too am really trying to keep a stiff upper lip about this supreme challenge.
I do know this, no other team other than OU has come out on top more when all the pundits said it couldn't be done.

It's in our DNA to play out of our minds in the big games like these.

It's just what we do. (usually)

Who says he's opened the playbook already? I'm banking on a triple reverse flea-flicker hook-and-lateral!!!

More , more, more creative plays. (I know Bob hates them) I think we really ought to freak Baylor out this week..... run out the Ninja set! lol
