Hurts started out strong today running, passing, and decision making. Hit short passes accurately and had a nice couple of deep balls. He took some big hits and took a step back on his progressions. I though his coach and the play calling did not help; I know big surprise me questioning play calling. Hurts got screwed with a reviewed fumble on the field call...somehow it was confirmed but it was not a fumble. I was impressed but it should be noted this is against Dallas which may likely have the worst defense in their once proud organization's history.

Don't let the botox fool you. Jerry wouldn't survive a crushed larynx
Exactly...There ain't enough Johnny Walker blue in the world to save him. I give him credit for 3 super bowls in the 90's to a certain extent. But there are 20 something's Cowboy fans who have never known a quality team who could win the super bowl (sans one year).

The Cowboys after the first two offensive series for the Eagles, did a nice job keeping Jalen from hurting them with the scramble. But the biggest factor in the game was the Eagles penalties. They had FIVE false starts in a stadium with little crown noise. And they had several crucial holding penalties. But it didn't appear to be about officiating. It appeared to be about holding too much.

Jalen is better than I thought he'd be as a rookie, but he's not ready to beat a good defense from the pocket, or even the Cowboys' defense. This was the least effective he's looked since he became the starter.

Plaino, you left out the homecookin which on that bogus fumble, allowed the girls to take off. Admit it, it was the turning point.

I thought abandoning the run and RPO game after initial success was crucial as well. The worst run defense in the league, with a make shif oline that obviously run blocks better than pass blocks put their offense in longer down and distance. The penalties sure as hell didn't help in the 2nd half.
