BV is a proven elite defensive coach by all measures. BV and staff had plenty of time to see in spring practice and subsequesnt scrimmages , how good or bad the OU offense is doing . Especially the OL. Seth's playcalling during the alamo bowl would have been excused for the rookie QB starting, but still producing good yardage.
The OL is this historically bad by all accounts ( both national and local analysts have not seen such a joke of an offensive line) , how come BV missed the warning signs to act on it before this disaster happen ? ? is it lack of judgement or was he under an illusion his defense was just that good during scrimmages?
