85% of Horn posts on OB requires them to "run the table" and win the Big XII. As in this loss "means nothing) I did a little research to determine the probability of this and posted it to the OB expecting an immediate ban. Incredibly, all posters to respond to this point agree that the odds favor them "running the table". They completely missed the intended insult & message of their best odds were 24%. Amazing, but not unexpected.

Post was:

Time to “run the table”. That is, Horns must WIN their next 6-games (after the OU game) to escape this squawk 7700 disaster in progress. Good news is that Texas has indeed “run the table” before & more than once. A little cypherin’ shows the percentage of times UT has attained this objective in the last 73 - years.

Last 10-yrs. = 0.0%

Last 20-yrs. = 15%

Last 30-yrs. = 23%

Last 40-yrs. = 20%

Last 50-yrs. = 20%

Last 60-yrs. = 25%

Last 70-yrs. = 23%

Last 73-yrs. = 24%

Looks like the Horn strategy of losing early and then running the table to win the conference and get into the playoffs has some merit. Just not very much.
